“Explicațiile Codului penal”, a major project with the participation of the Faculty of Law in Cluj

During 2025, the series of article-by-article comments entitled “Explanations of the Criminal Code” was published by the Universul Juridic Publishing House.

The volumes “Explanations of the Criminal Code” are developed under the aegis of the “Academician Andrei Rădulescu” Institute of Legal Research of the Romanian Academy and respond to the needs for knowledge, deepening and correct understanding of the provisions of the Criminal Code that entered into force on February 1, 2014.

Professor Ioana Vasiu from the Faculty of Law of Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca contributed to these volumes as follows:

– In Vol. II, the content analysis of Title X The meaning of some terms or expressions in the criminal law (art. 180 Non-cash means of payment and art. 181 Information system and information data);

– In Vol. III, the in-depth analysis of Title I Crimes against the person, Chapter IX Crimes affecting the home and private life (art. 224-227) and Title II Crimes against property, Chapter IV Fraud committed through information systems and electronic means of payment (art. 249-252);

– In Vol. IV, the content analysis of Title VII Crimes against public safety, Chapter VI Crimes against the security and integrity of information systems and data (art. 360-366).
