Erasmus Teaching Mobility at the Faculty of Law of the University of León (Spain)

The Erasmus Teaching Mobility programme, a project of the European Union, also allows professors of the Faculty of Law in Cluj to interact directly with colleagues from European universities and to teach courses to students of other institutions.
Building on a relationship developed over the past decade, during the period 10–16 May 2025, Associate Professor Cosmin Flavius Costaș and Senior Lecturer Septimiu Ioan Puț delivered lectures at the Faculty of Law of the University of León (Spain).
The activities carried out also included participation in an extended conference entitled “Future of Taxation in Romania and Spain. Taxing Sports and Informal Income,” during which the Romanian perspective on the taxation of unconventional income was presented.
The event enjoyed the participation of the entire teaching staff of the partner Faculty, namely Professors María Teresa Mata Sierra, Marta González, Antonio Vaquera García, and Daniel Blanco Núñez.
The collaboration between the Faculties of Law of Cluj and León is a long-standing one. It will continue with Associate Professor Cosmin Flavius Costaș taking part in an international PhD examination board, a documentation and research stay in Cluj by Daniel Blanco Núñez, and the ongoing support of the Cluj Tax Forum Journal through contributions from professors of the Faculty of Law of León.
