Between 18 and 21 November 2025, the Faculty of Law team – composed of students Maria Agighioleanu (3rd year), Alexia-Petra Pescar (3rd year) and Giulia-Roxana Apolzan (3rd year) – will participate, for the first time in the history of Babeș-Bolyai University, in the oral rounds of the “All-European International Humanitarian and Refugee Law Moot Court Competition” held in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The team is coached by Gabriela Dănilă, lawyer at the Cluj Bar Association and collaborator of the Faculty of Law, Department of Public International Law. The Faculty’s team submitted one of the best written memorials in the competition’s written phase, earning them a qualification for the oral rounds alongside eleven other European teams.

The ”All-European International Humanitarian and Refugee Law Moot Court Competition”, now in its 10th edition, is organized by the University of Ljubljana in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The competition features both a written stage, involving the submission of memorials, and an oral stage, during which selected teams argue hypothetical cases in international humanitarian and refugee law before experienced judges and jurors.

The Faculty of Law extends its best wishes to the team for this international competition!
