Studia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai Iurisprudentia is the law series of the journal of Babeș-Bolyai University, currently published in 29 series.
Studia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai Iurisprudentia aims to publish innovative research and current legal analyses. Submissions are welcomed from any author, academic or otherwise, including the journal's national and international collaborators and the academic community (faculty and students) of the Faculty of Law at Babeș-Bolyai University.
The selection of articles and reviews is based solely in the rigorous application of scientific methods and coherent logical argumentation applied to the legal phenomena or related fields of study. Materials that emphasize current issues and seek to reach solutions based on the comparative method are given priority.
Criminal Law Writings
The journal
Caiete de Drept Penal (Criminal Law Writings), established in 2005, aims to provide a forum for the discussion of contemporary and cutting-edge criminal legal issues. The journal publishes innovative research and opinions of both legal practitioners and academics - professors and students of the Faculty of Law within the Babeș-Bolyai University and other national and international collaborators.
The journal (ISSN 1841-6047) is published by Universul Juridic Publishing House quarterly (for details and subscriptions, https://www.ujmag.ro/reviste/caiete-de-drept-penal) and is indexed in ERIH PLUS, EBSCO, SSRN, CEEOL and HeinOnline international databases. It has four sections: doctrine, case law, reviews and info.
The editorial director of the journal is Professor Florin Streteanu (Faculty of Law, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca). The Editorial Board includes Professor Gheorghiță Mateuț, Professor Sergiu Bogdan, Associate Professor Daniel Nițu, Lecturer Oana Bugnar-Coldea, Lecturer Lucian Criste, and Lecturer Ioana Curt (all from the Faculty of Law, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca), as well as Lawyer Mihai Morar (Bucharest Bar Association).
Cluj Tax Forum Journal
The Cluj Tax Forum Journal magazine has been published since 2018, on the sidelines of the Cluj Tax Forum series of tax conferences. From the beginning, the magazine aimed to offer publication opportunities to both established researchers, from Romania and abroad, and to young students, master's or doctoral students. The structure of the magazine, developed over time, includes for each issue an editorial, a tax news section, a number of four selected specialist articles, summaries of national tax case law, the tax case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Court's historical tax case law, a review of a specialist work and a tax consultancy section.
Currently, the editor of the journal is Associate Professor Dr. Cosmin Flavius Costaș (Babeș-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca), and the editor-in-chief is Senior Lecturer Dr. Septimiu Ioan Puț (Babeș-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca). The Editorial Board is completed by Associate Professor Dr. Mihaela Tofan (Alexandru Ioan Cuza University Iași), Associate Professor Dr. Radu Bufan (West University of Timișoara), Associate Professor Dr. Ciprian Păun (Babeș-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca), Associate Professor Dr. Cristina Oneț (Lucian Blaga University Sibiu), Dr. Vladimir Marinescu (lawyer, Timiș Bar) and Junior Lecturer Dr. Laura Lazăr (Babeș-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca).
